The U-Groove was designed for the automotive manufacturers to meet their emission standards and is used as an original equipment manufacturer supplied part.

All Autopart spark plugs are pre-fired at the factory to assure the highest quality possible. The insulators are made from purified alumina providing support for the center electrode, and prevent flashover and decreased voltage loss.
